It's January. That means New Years resolutions are in full effect. Now is the time to clean out your kiddos closet and do something good for your soul. Little Swappies is an organization that was created as a place for mamas to unload their unwanted goods, swap for new goodies, and spend the day hanging with some pretty rad women. I can't think of a better way to make sure the items your little ones are no longer using will be loved by someone else. It's also a fantastic way to bring new-to-you items home that your children need. This years event is sure to be amazing. Some highlights include free babysitting provided by Urbansitter, free stroller cleaning by CleanBeeBaby, goodie bags, and some pretty amazing prizes will be raffled off during the event. The best part? All items that do not find a home will be lovingly donated to the Covenant House, a NYC based mother and child crisis center. This years event will take place on January 26 at Avenues: The World School. To attend all you need to do is purchase your ticket (children are free) and show up with at least five children or maternity items to swap with other families. I will be attending with this lady and I'm pretty stoked for the event. I hope to see many local mamas there!
