I don't know if it's the dreary weather accompanied by streets covered in yellow (yes, yellow) and gray snow, but I have been coveting pastels. Perhaps it truly is a matter of Spring on the brain but I can't get enough of these beautiful, airy colors. It's a bit of a departure from my usual style but that is the fun and beautiful part of getting to decorate a home from (almost) scratch, isn't it? For our new apartment I think a few pops of gorgeous mint, blush, and peach would look amazing against a black and white palette. I already own this blanket from Ikea so I think I'm off to a good start ;) Ps - best twenty bucks you'll ever spend! As we anxiously - and desperately - await our moving day, I'll be pinning my life away and dreaming of pastels.
